Hayley Orrantia, she is an American performer, songwriter and actress. The majority of people recognize the name as Erica Goldberg, from the show 'The Goldbergs' on television. But she is primarily a music lover. At the age of 9 older, she started dabbling into music. As she grew to 12 years old, the music she was playing took an adolescent turn and she started training professionally. She ventured into songwriting at 13 and was 14 when she recorded her first collection of cover songs. And the rest is history. Orrantia was born in the USA and yet she is of Hispanic heritage. Although she was raised speaking solely English and has never lived in Mexico she's very proud of her Hispanic heritage. In order to maintain it, she has learned Spanish and created songs that are in Spanish. "Hasta Verte", a Spanish-language song that she has recorded, can be a perfect illustration. Orrantia tried out for The X Factor in 2011. Orrantia was chosen out of an YouTube video that she submitted and got 4 "yes" no votes by judge at the time of live auditions held in Seattle, Washington. Originally auditioning as a soloist, she as well as three female singers were grouped in the final auditions in "Hollywood Week". The live shows were held in the 5th week.
