Hayley Orrantia is the American actor, singer and songwriter. The most famous of her roles is Erica Goldberg who stars in 'The Goldbergs,' a comedy TV show. She considers herself to be an artist first and foremost. She says that music has always been her first love. The first time she began to study professional music when she was 12. The singer-songwriter began writing songs at 13, and she was just 14 when she recorded her debut album of covers songs. Since then there has been never a moment to rest. Orrantia is of Hispanic origins, but was born in USA. Though she's never spoke Spanish in Mexico, she still feels extremely proud of her Hispanic roots. To keep her heritage alive she's enrolled in Spanish. Additionally, she creates songs using the language. 'Hasta Verte' a song she recorded in Spanish is an example of this. Orrantia was a contestant on The X Factor during its first season, in summer 2011. Orrantia took home the very first season of The X-Factor when she uploaded a YouTube audition video. She received four "yes" vote from the judge during the live stage show in Seattle. Although she originally auditioned on her own at "Hollywood Week" the singer, along with three other female singers, were put into an ensemble for the remainder in the selection process. They were eliminated in the 5th week in the Live performance.
