Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise (born Tina Louise) is a American writer, singer and actress best known for playing Ginger Grant in Gilligan's Island. The musical Bettle performed in Two's Company was her first stage performance in the 1950s. She continued to perform in various Broadway productions until she made it huge in the national theater area with Li'l abner's in 1957. In the same calendar year she debuted her debut musical album, It's Tina Time. Louise first made it to Hollywood in the role of Griselda Walden in God's Big Acre, a drama from 1957. This film became an enormous success and Louise got the Golden Globe Award at the New Star of the Award category. When she was in New York, Louise enrolled in Actors Studio and began her relationship with Lee Strasberg. In 1964, she signed with CBS and portrayed Ginger Grant. Louise was a success in Hollywood as well as Broadway in roles that were more serious that reflected her reputation as a glamour doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The series also featured her as Helen Magnus in Sanctuary although in the last few years she has also made a name for herself as a director who has been successful in various well-known television shows like Supernatural and The 100. Born in Essex Ontario, on the 27th August, 1965. Her family moved to Toronto when she was three. The city was her home for the duration of her childhood there and her adolescence. Samantha Carter settled in Vancouver in Canada following her choice for the role of lead.
